The client: De Montfort University, a public research and teaching university located in Leicester, England.
The challenge: De Montfort University approached us asking us to design a training program to help recent graduates set up and launch their own businesses.
Our approach: We developed a two-day bootcamp training program for aspiring entrepreneurs that would teach them basic entrepreneurial skills and give them essential entrepreneurial knowledge that they could the use practically after the sessions.
Our solution: We traveled to Leicester to deliver the training to the entrepreneurs over the two day period. We showed the students how to use the Business Model Canvas and Value Proposition Canvas as well as taught them pitch and presentation skills and networking skills.
The results: After the workshop, 19 budding entrepreneurs walked away equipped with valuable entrepreneurial skills, enthused and confident to begin their endeavours.
